Hi – My name is Coach Bree Hassell– I’m the Founder and Coach of The Albany Rock Project and I’m an Urban Rock Muralist. I started The Albany Rock Project (ARP) in October 2020, during the global pandemic; painting rocks and hiding them in parks in black and brown neighborhoods of Albany, NY in order to create affordable art that is accessible and sustainable. Since then, three years ago, ARP has released over 650 painted rocks and commissioned 9 paid artists throughout the capital region and still counting! I also provide year-round artist coaching sessions and community-building workshops.
With all of this in mind, I come bearing some exciting news!
To invest in myself and ARP, I’ve enrolled in the Construction and Design Institute with Mission Accomplished Transition Services.
At this time, to embrace my next level as an entrepreneur, ARP requires a RE-commitment from me. A recommitment of my time, energy, mind, and body. A recommitment to my vision and mission of ARP. A recommitment to what it means to be my own boss and build a sustainable team for ARP.
Mission Accomplished Transition Services has been the first stop of this recommitment. This includes a training program that will contribute to ARP’s new brand messaging and marketing, digital presence, entrepreneurial time management, and professional boundary setting.
I am appealing to you to ask, “Are you available to support The Albany Rock Project’s growth today?”
I have already contributed $550 to my growth as the leader of the organization. I am in need of my community's support to satisfy the rest of the cost of the Institute, my travel expenses, and other expenses associated with the business trip I will participate in this June.
Construction and Design Institute Tuition Fees– $1,600
Business Trip Expenses – $1,000
We will travel to Philadelphia, known as the mural capital, to learn how Phili artists have been able to encourage their city government to invest in public art.
Round Trip Travel (to and from the Institute–WEEKLY) – $300
Your donations also support the impact of ARP in the following ways, and more!
$25 funds one art kit for community-building workshops
$50 compensates two hours of an artist’s meeting time
$250 pays a local, independent up-and-coming artist for a rock collection
$500 will cover one-half of the Philadelphia business trip expenses
